Basil Bangs warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship but not damage caused by misuse, inappropriate use or normal wear and tear.

Faulty product validated under a warranty claim will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Basil Bangs. Basil Bangs will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of product.
All warranty claims must be made at the place of purchase, or if purchased through Basil Bangs by sending an email to hello@basilbangs.com. Proof of purchase (receipt with date of transaction) is essential for all warranty claims.

Basil Bangs Gift Vouchers
Basil Bangs does offer a Gift Voucher service. Vouchers are available in any amount and are redeemable directly through Basil Bangs only. Vouchers are non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Vouchers are valid for a twelve month period from purchase date. Please contact us on hello@basilbangs.com to organise a Basil Bangs gift voucher.
Returns and Exchange
At Basil Bangs we understand in some instances there will be the need to return a product. To streamline the process, returns must be pre-authorised and pending inspection a refund, credit or exchange will be issued to you. Please email hello@basilbangs.com should you wish to obtain authorisation to return a product stating the reason for the return request.
Basil Bangs does not accept returns based on change of mind. Returns are accepted for genuine flaws to Basil Bangs products and these returns must take place within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Due to the patterned nature of many of Basil Bangs' umbrella fabrics, each umbrella is unique and presents slight variations to what may be seen on www.basilbangs.com. This is not a product flaw but something that makes your very own umbrella unique and special.
For products that are deemed faulty on purchase, refunds, credits or exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase.
All returns must be accompanied by an invoice and shipping costs incurred will be covered by Basil Bangs should the product be deemed flawed/faulty.
Please note: All refunds, returns or exchanges for items purchased through a retail outlet other than www.basilbangs.com must be handled by the original location of purchase.
Basil Bang e-store currency
This online shop quotes the price in Australian Dollars therefore when you are purchasing from an overseas destination, your transaction will be processed through Paypal using your own currency. For example if you are purchasing from the USA you will pay the US dollar value, making the price charged less than the Australian dollar price quoted in the online store.
Basil Bangs reserves the right to cancel any order at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or numbers provided. We will refund all payment s using the original method and card details received. All orders are subject to availability of stock. Basil Bangs will take all reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details are true and correct.
